' ' ' ' ' ' ' How many public buildings have you passed with fences, security cameras, gates, guards and any measure necessary to keep us out of our own public property. And why does our government feel a need to erect a fortress around our White House? It is because they know that in a country this big, there are bound to be a few loose nuts who want to do harm to institutions they either don’t understand, don’t believe in, or feel are dangerous to their own existence. Gee, sort of like suicide bombers who slip over our open borders?
When you drive through any city in America, and down most highways, you will see cameras positioned strategically on poles to catch you breaking the law. And even if you don’t see them, there is proof that they saw you when you receive those blurry little photos in the mail with a blowup of your own license plate.
So our government is not only able to take pictures of us going about our daily lives, but they can find us and show us how incredibly smart they are.

We recently saw the Iranian President Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez form an alliance to combat any response from America, shall we intervene by force against these nations. We've seen North Korea thumb its nose towards the International community by testing a nuclear weapon underground and ignored, for a year, engaging in 6-party talks persuading the country to disarm. Then there is the issue of the Middle East. It remains a volatile region. The question is, what is left for the US to do? I realize President Bush has A LOT on his plate, but he could alleviate some of the pressure and threats that the West and Israel faces as a whole if he made a step towards some type of action to thwart a catastrophe. North Korea seems defiant as ever, even in the face of sanctions. Even before a UN vote authorizing sanctions on the country, North Korea boldly declared it would continue with nuclear tests, and if a UN vote to impose sanctions on the country succeeded, it would be to them as an act of war. "If the U.S. keeps pestering us and increases pressure, we will regard it as a declaration of war and will take a series of physical corresponding measures," threatened...

"For the love of money is the root of all evil"--1 Timothy 6:10 (KJV) The mad rush to set in place powerful global entities to control the world's wealth has begun. The will to radically alter our way of life as we know it has begun in the form of the North American Union, the European Union (a collection of 25 countries operating under the same policies and currency) which is trying to revive its failed constitution, and the United Nations which seeks to tax Americans. Then there are the pursuits of Former President Bill Clinton. Lately he seeks to fix the world's problems though a select group of the powerful as they commit to and fund projects around the world through the Clinton Global Initiative. There is nothing wrong with reaching out to help the world's destitute and giving of yourself. Just not with such an outward showing as Clinton has done. The Clinton Global Initiative gives me the impression that Clinton is still seeking the limelight. He thinks that money will solve every global problem, and is urging the rich and powerful to make monetary commitments to fight disease, poverty, and other nagging issues. There is one issue that must be confronted before any positive...

Where are the leaders who have the Reaganesque tenacity to face down terrorism and evil, call it what it is, and say "We won't tolerate it" and MEAN what they say? Where are those bold people? Certainly, allowing the leaders of rogue countries on American soil to spew their hatred does not fit the bill of a bold person. Former US President Ronald Reagan was famous for this quote: "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" I believe that Mr. Reagan would have said to Iranian President Mahmood Ahmadinejad and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez..."Gentlemen, you will take NO step on this blessed land!" And Americans would have applauded him. President Bush allowed Hugo Chavez to come to New York and address the UN Assembly and call him the devil in front of a laughing and agreeable crowd. These are people who are enjoying the perks of the US while making light of the President of the United States. Such behavior is despicable! I think it is long overdue for the UN to exit the US. To me, they are comprised of nothing more than a bunch of countries that look the other way in reigning in terrorists, and appear to be sympathetic to their cause. The waning action of the UN to confront terrorism...

To put some perspective on the sudden concern for the terrorists who have been incarcerated to prevent them from blowing themselves up and taking other lives, I suggest our three-blind-mice Republican Senators meet Aminatou Haidar. She is a Saharawi who made the unfortunate mistake of assuming that the United Nations really cares about upholding its charter and protecting the rights of the oppressed, the abused, the invaded and occupied territories as they now conveniently claim they do, by opposing the US presence in Iraq. For almost a quarter of a century, Western Sahara has been fighting for its independence against Morocco, its northern neighbor, that invaded the minute Spain decolonized and pulled up stakes. They claimed that Western Sahara was always a part of Morocco, even though they miraculously escaped colonization by Spain in the late 1800s and oddly, did not oppose the Spanish occupation for over 75 years. Only suddenly, did it dawn on them, the minute the Spanish occupation ended that, oh my gosh, this phosphorous rich land with a huge coastline on the western side of Africa, is really part of Morocco. They have been in Western Sahara ever since . . . splitting the country...

There are many of us who are still resigned to thinking that we are safe from terror attacks. And that only through diplomacy will terrorists and rogue nations, like Iran, comply or negotiate when it comes to the development of nuclear weapons. Or, in the case of Hezbollah, put down arms for the sake of peace. They are playing us for fools! The effort to keep peace in Lebanon and to keep Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from pursuing nuclear technology will only buy time, but eventually, terrorism in whatever form will heat up again at some point. Iran is conducting military exercises and test firing missiles, and President Ahmadinejad's behavior continues to be volatile with regards to his nuclear ambition. He will not give up his quest for more nuclear power. Ahmadinejad is busy trying to acquire nuclear technology to threaten the West and Israel, and is even responsible for the training of terrorists fighters in Iraq. That's one more problem US troops and our allies have to deal with in Iraq. I appreciate the job our troops are doing in Iraq; they have double the work to do in Iraq. From the rebuilding of Iraq to fending off attacks from groups trained by Iran, they have...

So New York City Mayor Bloomberg has declared, before a Senate panel, that his city is totally helpless and dependent upon illegal aliens to keep their economy going. Wow . . . and I thought Wall Street had power. So, we should now invest in illegal aliens and not US companies, because they are the engine that keeps our economy going? Just what are these incredibly vital jobs that keep the life line of America tethered to growth, prosperity, and, well, existence? I guess it depends on who you are and what your needs are. It seems that liberals can't live without their nannies, housekeepers, gardeners and people to clean up after their oh so very important and elitist lives. But conservatives seem to be able to limp along without someone raising their children, cleaning their toilets or pulling their weeds. They have developed the most amazing ways to survive sans aliens by deciding to trade life-consuming careers for stay-at-home jobs and even home schooling opportunities that not only save thousands of dollars in nannies and tuition, but they even have the added benefit of bonding with their kids. How incredibly revolutionary is that? And trust me, when you home school, you incorporate...

On the count, one would loose the number of endless and blessed foreign entities with programs to teach Africa how to do. Last week, one unveiled the need to teach African women the protocols necessary to take care of babies to prevent children from infections. In all of these developmental crisis and funding, nowhere do you see African epidemiologists, their peer-reviewed references on theory and methodology informing the framework. In essence, African health practitioners have nary a presence in advocating, designing and directing these redeeming and alien programs that are counted as Development Aid to Africa. Not to mention that the development is not mutual or reciprocal. For example, accomplished and balanced African women's groups are not funded to teach ethics and morals, or to offer counseling in wayward and dysfunctional western settings.Yet, the pathetic needs assessment can be very touchy - convincingly with the running nose, half naked and malnourished African children being touted by the foreign group on public television and elsewhere. True, too, if one goes from wealthy homes to the hoods and trailers in America and England, babies can be found at various stages...

The other day as I finished scrubbing the sixth toilet in our house, an amazing realization hit me. I was actually able to perform this very mundane task without a Mexican or illegal alien in sight. I pondered that thought as I went outside to join three blonde haired, blued eyed Americans and two Koreans to mulch, weed, plant, dig and generally get dirty and sweaty. Again, not a Mexican or illegal alien in sight. The next day as I watched two black workers precariously perched thirty feet high on the dead limb of a black walnut tree, trimming it up, I marveled at how we, just a helpless caucasian woman and two black men, could function without an illegal alien by our side. After this revelation, as I drove into our farm I noticed four strong blonde haired blue eyed men up to their elbows in cement, mud, back-hoes and other farm equipment. As I pulled on my overalls to help pull cement, I kept looking around for the Mexicans to come do this dirty work for us that liberals tell us Americans refuse to do themselves. I don't know many Americans who are not capable of cooking their own meals, washing their own clothes, scrubbing their own floors and toilets, driving their own kids to...

To hear it said once again out of the mouth of Congressman John Murtha that all is lost is both disheartening as well as disingenuous. According to the congressman, we might as well pick up our gear and pull out of Iraq. Yes, that's the Democrat ticket. Let's allow all the Iraqi people to be slaughtered by the hands of terrorists. It is terrorists who are trying their best to cause a civil war in a newly formed democracy. However the good people of Iraq are not buying into their disruptive mind set. There will be no civil war in Iraq. Good will and peace is being promoted in Iraq. Rumsfeld said: "There is no civil war in Iraq." " Iraq Isn't on the Verge of Civil War." According to U.S. General Peter Pace. http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=aSWSmircZ16o&refer=us Way too much credence has been given to an aged man who honorably served his country a very long time ago. Today he is dishonoring his country with his lies. Murtha has absolutely...
